Design is to Denmark as a wheel is to the bicycle. You won’t get far without one! Design thrives in crises and when time is pressing.  There is a sense of change driven by technology, the market, and the environment, giving opportunities to some, and creating fear in most.

Change motivates me. Design plays a huge role in this relationship. It’s important that we design to give value,  confidence, and understanding. Design holds more power and influence than ever before – and, with that power, a responsibility to respond more rapidly, critically, and with greater focus on relevance.

Founder and Director of Design at Urgent.Avency. Honorary Associate Professor at the Design School Kolding. Board member at The Danish Design Council. Member of The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture; Design; and Conservation. Received Knud V. Engelhardt Memorial Scholarship, Danish Design Awards, Red Dot – Best of the Best, Creative Circle Gold Award, and Total  Publishing Prize. His designs are exhibited at the Danish Design Museum in Denmark and are included in various publications.
